Education Centre of Peel. Topics include:

d Discovering personal feelings, self-respect and assertiveness

The Body Shop

Every second Monday afternoon, Body Shop staff come to the shelter to provide esteem enhancing care such as hand care,

hand massages, hair care, and makeovers.  On alternate Monday evenings the Body Shop staff also provide activities for

the children that include face painting, crafts, birthday parties and games.  This helps to give the mothers a little time to

themselves while at the shelter.

Reclaiming My Life Abuse Group

This 14 week closed group program for victims/survivors of spousal abuse is focused on providing women with the tools to

rebuild their lives after leaving an abusive relationship. Ideal for women who are passed the crisis stage and who are

committed to getting help, understanding abuse, healing and living an abuse-free life.
